The Emperor Shan Jehan erected this magnificent royal mausoleum for his favorite wife (and Queen) Mumtaz-A-Mahal. The Taj Mahal took more than 20,000 workers and over 23 years to construct this palace. It is located in Agar, India. One of the eight Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal still houses the graves of the Emperor and his Queen.
Each set comes with 2 bookends. They are made of resin with an antiqued finish.

The Taj Mahal was build over a 22 year period and was completed in 1648. Renowned for its architectural magnificance and aesthetic beauty, the architectural design uses the interlocking arabesque concept and forms and unequal octagon.
