Sydney Opera House Bookends
The Sydney Opera House is one of the most recognizable buildings in the modern world. It is to Australia what the Pyramids are to Egypt and the Colosseum is to Rome.
The roof is evocative of a ship in Sydney Harbor sailing at full sail. The Opera House stands 67 meters above sea level. It is 185 meters long by 120 meters wide. It has 1000 rooms, 6,225 square meters of glass, one million roof tiles and hosts more than 3,000 events each year.
The Opera House was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on October 20, 1973.
Each set comes with 2 bookends. They are made of resin with an antiqued finish.
