Big Ben and Parliament Bookends
Big Ben actually refers not to the clock itself, but to the 13 ton bell hung within. Named after the first commissioner of works, Sir Benjamin Hall. The tower rises 320 feet high and was constructed in 1840-1888. The four dials of the clock are 23 feet square.
These bookends feature the Palace of Westminster and the Houses of Parliament - a massive cluster of 1100 rooms used by the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
Each set comes with 2 bookends. They are made of resin with an antiqued finish.
